Norwich Show Ward Interest

Norwich City are the latest club to be linked with Coventry City defender Elliott Ward.

Some of today's newspapers have said that The Canaries will pay £500,000 for the former West Ham player who cost City £1m in installments.

West Brom have also been linked and it is thought that their ability to pay bigger wages and the lure of a few months of Premier League football unless the Baggies can move away from the bottom the table, is more likely than a move to Carrow Road.

Ward's contract with City expires in June 2010.
