According to the BBC's Dan Pallett, Northampton Town, as far as they know, are saying that Coventry City's League Cup tie against Cardiff City is going ahead at Sixfields.
Mr Pallett has tweeted: "Northampton Town FC have told the BBC that as far as they know next week's opening "home game" for Coventry is still on at their stadium.
Northampton Town FC say they have had no contact from Coventry City regarding any switch to the Ricoh."
