Coventry City will be without new signing Kwame Thomas and defender Chris Stokes for their trip to Austria which starts on Monday.

The Sky Blues will be training in Furstenfeld which is in the Austrian federal state of Styria, near the border of Hungary and playing one match on Friday against opponents still to be confirmed.

However, the City squad will be down by two with Thomas and Stokes not travelling due to injuries and speaking about them to the Coventry Telegraph, Tony Mowbray said:“Kwame won’t travel, he’s having treatment at the minute and won’t be going to Austria.

“Chris Stokes had an injection today on the injury he had last season and he won’t be going to Austria either, so it will be a pretty young group.”
