No Replayed Game For City Ladies Reserves

Coventry City Ladies Reserves will not have to travel to Middlesbrough to replay the match which was abandoned on December 19 2004.

The FA decided in light of the disciplinary actions undertaken by the Birmingham County FA,the match between Middlesbrough Ladies Reserves & Coventry City Ladies Reserves would not be replayed and the score at the time of abandonement (0-0) would become the result of the match.

The Reserves will also not have to rearrange the home game against Sheffield Wednesday which was postponed on January 23rd as the South Yorkshire club have resigned from the club and their fixtures have been expunged. City Reserves play their final league fixture at home to Middlesbrough on Sunday March 13th.
Meanwhile, City Ladies are hoping for a big turn of supporters when they travel to Sutton Coldfield Town to face local rivals Aston Villa on Sunday 2pm kick off. Mark Phillips is a former Villa manager and hopes that his side will have the off the pitch backing to help them gain another three points to help preserve their WPL Northern Division status.

Leave the M6 at J5. Take the 3rd exit, A452, signposted to Brownhills and Sutton Coldfield, (Chester Road) continue on this road over 3 islands. At traffic lights (McDonalds on the corner) take, a right (signposted Sutton Coldfield) continue straight over a set of traffic lights. At the Horse & Jockey PH, take a right immediately before the Odeon, (Holland Road) after 200 yards turn right into Coles Lane. Ground is 150 yards on left. It is between a house and a small shop.
