Coventry City manager Steven Pressley will have no problems with playing Lee Burge in goal if Joe Murphy fails to be fit for this afternoon's game at Tranmere Rovers.

Murphy has flu and Burge has been placed on standby with Alex Gott and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, City manager Steven Pressley said:“Joe reported in ill so we’re not having the greatest of luck, but that’s football and we’ll prepare properly and be ready, make no mistake about it, regardless of what personnel we have available.

“He called in with a bit of a flu bug but the one thing we have is Lee who we rate really highly, so if he has to play we have no concerns and are more than happy with that.

“He’s been great this season and doing really well in the Under-21s where he’s played very well.

“Just being around the first team and on the bench he’s grown in confidence and belief, and he’s developing as a character all the time.

“He’s got a good presence and I think he’s really progressing so we’ve got no concerns about him playing.

“There will be no negativity going into the game; just a real desire to get our results back on track.”
