Former Coventry City loanee Gary Madine received 250 hours community service for an attack on a man in the Beehive Pub in Carlisle.
Madine who has been banging in the goals for the Cumbrians this season, had been told that he faced a possible custodial sentence but received 250 hours community service for the attack in February this year.
He also has to pay his victim £1,500 and £1,800 in costs and also be prohibited from entering the Beehibe Pub for eighteen months.
