Coventry City defender Richard Wood has said there is no pressure on the Sky Blues as they prepare to travel to Arsenal in the Capital One Cup Third Round tomorrow night.

Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Wood said; “There are plenty of our fans going down, which is great, and it’s a way of getting our confidence going.

“I’ve never played there, although I went to watch Arsenal v Man U last season. I don’t follow Arsenal as such but I do admire the way they play. It’s a great stadium and great place to go and play.”

He added: “There’s no pressure on us and hopefully we’ll go down there and get a result and use it as a platform to go on to Oldham and get our first win in the league.

“It’s a one-off game and hopefully we can put in a decent performance and get a result, but the more important game is Saturday.”
