No Portugal Game For City - Thorn

Last updated : 27 June 2011 By Covsupport News Service

According to Coventry City manager Andy Thorn, there are no match public or otherwise planned whilst the team are in Portugal.

We reported last week about interest from City supporters in watching the team play abroad in a public pre-season game after Mr Thorn revealed to the CT that the team were having pre-season training in Portugal in an article about Aron Gunnarsson.

The City boss has since told the CT's Andy Turner that 'it is a straight forward training camp in Portugal with no matches not even against a team of waiters and City's first game will be against Nuneaton Town on July 16th.'

Covsupport News Service would like to express our thanks to Andy Turner and to Adam Dent at Advent Communications for their help in this matter.
