No Points Target - Mowbray

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he does not have a points target for this season.

Speaking to Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph at this morning's press conference, Mowbray said: "I know we're going to win one or two games because I've seen the fighting spirit in the team. I seen their flaws as well.

"I don't have a points target. There are a couple of teams above us who probably thought they were safe a couple of weeks ago but now looking over their shoulder."

As for how many points, City will need to stay up, Mowbray said: "I don't have a crystal ball. Another three games, nine points. I think it might be a touch more than 50 but it doesn't matter to me. When the ball stops rolling we'll see where we are."
