Coventrian Ian Bell made only seven runs as England were hammered by ten wickets in the final of the Sanford Super Series.

England batted first knowing that victory would bring them £640k a man. However, it was another poor performance. When Bell went in the fourth over, England struggled all the way through their twenty overs and were 99 all out.

Patel made 22 with only Prior and Collingwood making double figures.

Gayle and Fletcher batted for the Sanford Superstars and they easily reached the target with ten wickets to spare.
