According to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter, there is no official word on whether they are signing Marc-Antoine Fortuné.
He is a free agent and has played for Tony Mowbray at West Brom and Celtic.
Mr Carpenter has tweeted: "No official word yet from the #SkyBlues that they are in talks with Marc-Antoine Fortuné but plenty of strong rumours this afternoon.
"Fortuné played under Tony Mowbray at both West Brom (in the Premier League) and Celtic - at 34 he would bring much-needed experience #PUSB"
