Coventry City are reporting that there have been no bids for Martin Cranie.
Norwich City were widely rumoured amongst the press last week as wanting the former England U21 international who joined City a year ago.
However, the club have confirmed that no bids have been received for Cranie who has been tried in a midfield slot in City's first two public pre-season matches.
Bothroyd said yesterday, “I have not had a single call and neither has the chairman, so as far as we are concerned it is just speculation and rumour which you get at this time of year.”
