Coventry City have confirmed that they have not appointed a new first team manager.

There have been plenty of rumours that Phil Brown has been appointed. However, this has been denied by Tim Fisher and Steve Waggott, who have said that so far no-one has been appointed.

Seventy applicants were whittled down to nine and now down to three, Waggot said that the manager was the most important person in the club.

Waggot speaking at the Fans Forum said there would be no appointment until after City's game at Shrewsbury on Tuesday.
