Coventry City captain Reda Johnson has said that there are no excuses after the Sky Blues were dumped out of the FA Cup by Worcester City.

Johnson, who apologised for hitting a poor first half penalty which was saved by Worcester's second choice keeper, told Keiran Crowley:  "We're all really disappointed with the result and embarrassed for everyone at the club especially the supporters.

"We weren't good enough and we didn't act professional enough coming into the game. We needed to take a serious mentality into today's game and we didn't do that.

"Everyone is hurting at the moment and we've got to bounce back from today. "We must do better and respond to our poor form at the moment and do more work on making what happened today right."
