Coventry City supporter and one of the match reporters for this site - Matty Roper was amongst the finalists at the Football Bloggings Awards at Old Trafford tonight.
Roper was nominated in the Young Blogger's Category but did not win and tweeted:"Unfortunately I didn't win my category, but I was up against some stiff competition.
"Immensely proud to reach the final considering there were thousands of nominees. It is always difficult competing with organisations that employ a host of people and it is difficult to go up against bloggers who focus on the top clubs in England.
"Thanks everyone - mainly Coventry fans - for voting."
