Coventry City want to extend the loans of Alex Nimely and Oliver Norwood into next season.

"It's a bit of a catch 22 situation because you want them to do well while they are here but at the same time they are showcasing their talents every week so other clubs here about them," Steve Waggott told the Coventry Observer’s Steve Carpenter.

"The decision really is down to their club, but what we've got to do is make sure that for the period these players are with us we get the best out of them, they have the best experience and their parent clubs realise what they've done here and how they have been treated.

"It's been an unbelievable journey for Nimely. He must be thinking he made the right move and Norwood told me after Saturday's win he is loving it here and that's what you want to hear because that will go back to other people at Manchester United and Manchester City.

"You've got to get a good reputation and with the great work Andy is doing I can pick up the phone to Spurs or anybody else if we need two or three players to come in on loan to enhance our squad.

"There are lots of decisions to be made over the summer but we've just got to make sure that if we do want to go back in that we have got a good reputation, so that when people answer the phone we know we've got a good chance."
