Coventry City will have Lee Carsley as caretaker manager for Saturday's home game against Swndon Town.
Carsley has won three out of the four games he has been in charge charge for and will again take charge of the team as the Sky Blues are understood to be not expected to make a full time appointment until next week.
City had around forty quality applications for the job to replace Mark Robins and these have been whittled down to the ones that Steve Waggott and those involved in the manager making process want to interview.
