Newcastle United were amongst the club's watching young Coventry City defender Cian Harries in the 3-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion U21's last night.
The Geordies sent down their scout Graham Carr to check out Harries, who again played well for City in their EFL Trophy victory.
Harries was watched by a number of clubs with Liverpool monitoring his progress after the Wales U19 international had a trial with the Red's Academy last week.
