Former Coventry City loanee Jacob Murphy made his debut for Newcastle United this afternoon.
Murphy, who joined the Geordies in a £12.5m move from Norwich, played the whole of second half in a 1-1 draw at Preston North End.
Murphy tweeted about the game: "Great to pull on the @NUFC strip for the first time. Minutes in the legs and looking forward to next week. Nice to see so many of you today!"
Former City striker Frank Nouble scored twice for Newport County in a 4-1 win over Gloucester City.
