Former Coventry City loanee Gary Gardner has signed a new contract with Aston Villa.
Gardner, who made four appearances on loan for City in 2011, scoring at Brighton, has gone on to make thirty three appearances for Aston Villa in the Premier League and now the Championship.
The twenty four year old has signed a deal which will keep him at Villa Park until 2020 and tweeted: "Delighted to have signed a new deal at this massive club @AVFCOfficial buzzing!! looking forward to the hard work ahead!"
