Former Coventry City striker Peter Ndlovu has found a new job. He has become part of a programme to seek out and coach talented footballers in his native Zimbabwe and to find them professional contract with European clubs.

Ndlovu played 100 time for Zimbabwe and, over a six year period,176 times for Coventry City, scoring some memorable goals in his 41 goal total.

Ndlovu told the newspaper The Zimbabwean, “I want these young boys to have the same chance that I have had when I went to play in England but I want them to have it earlier."

"I am showing them that it is possible to become a professional in Europe even coming straight from Zimbabwe. The dream is to have them into one school which will act as a soccer academy."

“We want these young boys to have a feel of the atmosphere of professional football that’s why it’s important to take them to the home of Real Madrid,”
