The new player, Nuneaton Town have called a press conference for, could play against Coventry City on Saturday in the annual fixture at Liberty Way.
Nuneaton, who have moved to being a full time club, are hosting a full media press conference on Friday at 10am, to announce a major new signing of a player whom the National League North side say, has played in the Premier League.
The player, who is understood to be also having a coaching role at the club as well as playing.
