Coventry City Council have agreed a new indoor pitch at the Alan Higgs Centre in Allard Way.
With Wasps no longer interested in the Higgs Centre, a new indoor pitch is required as the plans for the 50m swimming pool to replace the facility at Fairfax Street are going ahead.
Access to an indoor pitch is part of Coventry City Academy's Category 2 status and the indoor pitch at AHC is currently also used by Sky Blues In The Community and SoccerRockz run by former Sky Blue players Tom Cudworth, Craig Lead and Gary McSheffrey amongst others.
The new pitch could be ready for September 2018.
