Jack Burroughs has agreed a two year professional deal with Coventry City.

The deal will start when his current scholarship ends and comes after some excellent performances this season for City U18's, City U23's and a debut for City's first team in the Checkatrade Trophy game against Forest Green Rovers at the Ricoh Arena last Tuesday, which saw him become the first player born in the latest millenium to play for City's first team.

Academy boss Richard Stevens said about Burroughs, “I remember when Jack joined the club aged 7 and now to see the joy on his and his family’s face was a wonderful moment.

“I’m really proud to have seen him grown up and now I look forward to watching him take the next step in his career and he is in the right place to do that.”
