New Club For Martin Jol

Former Coventry City midfielder Martin Jol is managing a new club.

The Dutchman who made fifteen appearances for City in 1984-85 after joining from West Brom, has been appointed head coach of Egyptian Premier League leaders Al Ahly.

Jol, who has managed at the likes of Tottenham and Fulham takes over at most successful club in Egypt who have won the CAF Champions League eight times and the Egyptian Premier League on 37 occasions.

Jol has signed an eighteen month contract with the Cairo based club.
