New Club For Joachim

Former Coventry City striker Julian Joachim has joined Unibond League South side Quorn.

The Boston born striker, whose career at Coventry City, saw him injured for most of the time but he did score 14 goals in 46 starts and 15 substitute appearances when he joined from Aston Villa in 2001, had been at Kings Lynn last season.



The 34 year old featured for Quorn on Tuesday night against Willenhall Town.

Julian Gray is having a trial at Cardiff City. The winger started last season with the Sky Blues but was hastily shipped out to Fulham, whom he joined first on loan and then on a permanent basis.

He was released by Fulham at the end of the season after failing to break into the team and has been offered a trial by former Coventry defender and now Cardiff City boss David Jones has offered him Gray, who has played for Cardiff in the past a trial.

Former City defender Adie Williams has joined Swindon Supermarine.

The centre half who had the nickname "Count" after Count Dracula, made 35 appearances for City but is best remembered by Reading fans. Last season, Williams, who was Swindon Town's reserve team was in court for a 'domestic incident' and lost his job.
