New Club For Impey

Former Coventry City player Andrew Impey has joined Midland Alliance side Oadby Town.

Impey who, was getting £2,000 an appearance under Micky Adams, started five times for the Sky Blues in 2005-2006 in league and cup matches but made thirteen substitute appearances, mainly coming on in the final minutes of matches so that he could collect his fee.

Impey has joined Oadby, who had former Leicester City player Matt Elliott as their manager. Impey did not play in Oadby's 3-2 defeat at Coventry Copsewood last night.

Former Coventry City striker Iyseden Christie is training with Coventry Sphinx. The striker last season, played for Stevenage Borough, Kettering Town and Torquay United but is hoping to play abroad in a couple of months time.
