Sam Ricketts has signed a new deal with Coventry City.
The defender who captained the side last season, has signed a new one year deal following the expiring of his old contract.
Tony Mowbray told Laura Hunter about Ricketts: "Since I joined Coventry City, I've spoke about the importance of leadership and experience in the dressing room.
“Sam knows what it takes to get out of this division and his versatility means he can play anywhere across the back-line.
“League One will be an extremely competitive league next season and Sam will play a vital role in leading this team forward. I'm delighted to see him extend his stay at this club.”
