Never Watch Alone

Last updated : 21 December 2011 By Level Playing Field

Never Watch Alone is a buddy scheme, where disabled supporters can be paired up with a fellow fan to attend matches together.

The idea is to connect people who share a love for the sport in question, rather than a disabled supporter being accompanied by a carer who may not have that interest.

The scheme has been already piloted in Wigan and Level Playing Field are looking at what they can do to expand and improve the scheme by creating similar projects elsewhere.

Plans are already in place to visit other areas.
