Former Coventry City midfielder Neil Wood is waiting for international clearance to arrive so that he can make his debut for Atherstone Town.
Wood, who made 17 City first team appearances whilst on loan from Manchester United in 2004/05, had been playing for Bosnian side FK Zeljeznicar of Sarajevo and cannot play until permission from the Bosnian FA arrives.
He is hoping that today that arrives so he can make Atherstone's home game against Rothwell Town on Boxing Day.
