Coventry City keeper Joe Murphy has confirmed that he, Carl Baker and Leon Clarke have not been told to leave the Sky Blues for financial reasons.
The Daily Mail late on Saturday night, ran a story saying that the trip were up for grabs in a bid to save cash, something since denied by captain Carl Baker and manager Steven Pressley.
Murphy told the Coventry Telegraph at the club's press conference before tomorrow night's Capital One Cup tie at Leyton Orient that ' a weekend meeting between the three players and the Sky Blues boss was merely to reaffirm their commitment to the club following Friday's ten-point penalty imposed by the Football League.'
