Mr Singh Appointed For Palace Game

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship fixture on Saturday agsinst Crystal Palace at the Ricoh Arena is Jarnail Singh.

Now residing in West London, Mr Singh started refereeing in Wolverhampton in 1985. He took up refereeing after being a youth team manager and running the line. He made it onto the National List Of Referees in 2004.

He has had ten matches (two of which have been in the Championship) so far this season and has shown 36 yellow cards and no reds.

His last visit to the Ricoh Arena was for the 3-1 League Cup victory against Aldershot Town on August 13th 2008 and Mr Singh was also in charge of City's 0-0 draw with Stoke in 2005.

Assistants are Ian Dudley from Staffordshire & Richard Kendall from Bedfordshire. The Fourth Official is Chris Knowles from Northamptonshire.
