Coventry MP Jim Cunningham has said that the Football League Board meeting today is a chance to bring Cty home.

The Football League Board meet at their headquarters in London, not Preston as someone would have you beleive, today to discuss to discuss amongst other matters, exactly how much SISU owe to Arena Coventry Limited.

SISU were told pay £590k by last May as one of the ways of retaining their Football League status, but have disputed this, saying that monies from former Chairmen Mike McGinnity and Geoffrey Robinson make the figure a lot less.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Coventry MP Jim Cunningham, who has ensured that City's problems will be aired in Parliament in September, said:  “This meeting presents an opportunity for the Football League to finally show leadership and to take action to bring the team back to Coventry.

“If the Football League does not adequately address this situation, it will be clear that they are not up to the job of regulating our football teams and their management.”
