Tony Mowbray has said he will continue to play Nick Proschwitz.
The German is yet to score since joining City on loan from Brentford and missed a sitter in the 1-0 win against Colchester United. However, Tony Mowbray has backed him and told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “Considering he was the sixth loan player and out of the picture, I tried to put my arm around him and encourage him but he needs a goal because that’s what his game is.
“He’s one of those centre-forwards whose life is about goals – he’s hungry for them and you can see that from his workrate and desire. Today he nicked it round the keeper and you thought ‘this is it’ – unfortunately for him it hit the post but he’ll have another opportunity on Tuesday.”
