Mowbray: We've Missed The Three Pronged Attack

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that his side have missed out on having a three pronged attack since Ryan Kent wnet back to Liverpool.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph at this lunch-time's press conference: "The players are very resilient, they are in a good mood.

We took them for a walk and chat and bacon sandwich this morning before training.

"Saturday was just a tight game that got away from us.

"We’ll win a game 1-0 and we’ll be off and running again.

"I went into the game pretty confident because we’d scraped things back and looked at what we were doing at the start of the season.

"Things have changed quite considerably at the back and one of the other things we’ve missed is the likes of young Ryan Kent who gave us break-away speed.

"Ryan Kent going back changed the dynamic of the forward players.

"There was a little gang of talented footballers who used to eat together and do extra training together and they drove each other on.

"We haven’t got that three-pronged attack now.

"The balance between artists and soldiers is proving a little bit difficult at the moment but I’m sure that win is just around the corner.”
