Mowbray Not Rushing With Striker Search

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is aiming to bring in the right players rather than panic buys.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Mowbray, who made the decision not to further his interest in Nick Proschwitz, said: "There are lots and lots of choices out there and we need to try to pick the right ones.

“It’s something I have said all along that I don’t want to rush into things. We have to make sure we get the right ones and yet we are very conscious of the fact that we have been training now for over a week and training with Marcus, really, as an out-and-out striker and he’s more of a No10 than No.9 at this stage of his career.

“It’s not ideal that we’re training without certain players and we’re working extremely hard to rectify that.”
