Mowbray Looking Forward To Port Vale Trip

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he is looking forward to Sunday's trip to Port Vale.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph: "I’m looking forward to this weekend, playing against a team who have only lost once at home this season.

"Maybe we have to have a change in personnel, maybe a big centre-forward to give us a physical presence in the box and we’re going to address that.

"We haven’t got that at the moment.

"It’s not saying we’ll go back to front but it’s a question of changing things a little bit.

"We’re trying to address that but it’s only one of the reasons.

"In my mind the loss of Fleck for two games has been huge.

"Teams are sitting deeper because they are very aware of our back four.

"They don’t leave any space to break into.

"It’s not a Plan B - but we have to find a way to break these teams down.

"Port Vale will defend well and don’t worry too much about dominating the ball.

"They’ll be similar to Southend I would say.

"If they saw that game I am sure their eyes would have lit up.”
