Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that his is not overly concerned with the number of former Coventry City players in the Bury squad and prepares the team to the strength of the City players available.

The Shakers have Leon Clarke, Chris Hussey, Peter Clarke, Nathan Cameron and Danny Pugh in their squad along with Cov kid Danny Nardiello but speaking about them to the Coventry Telegraph, Mowbray said: "People keep telling me they have a lot of ex-Coventry players and I am sure it will be a tough game but hopefully we'll make it tough for them as well.

"One or two of our lads know them [the ex-Coventry City players] but I will prepare my team according to their strengths.

"Ex players can give a little bit extra, I suppose, but it's not something I'll be too concerned with.

"Leon Clarke's record suggests we have to be mindful of him - and a lot of their players - but at the same time, they will have to be mindful of our players."
