Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is hoping that Chris Stokes will be ok to play against Southend United on Monday night.

The defender picked up a knock on his ankle during the defeat at Walsall and speaking about him to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Mowbray said: “Chris has had an injection in his ankle but he will hopefully train over the weekend and be fine for Monday.”

City will be without James Maddison (ankle) and Jordan Willis (knee).
