Mowbray: Hopefully, We Can Follow Up Blackpool Win

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he hopes his side can follow up on the win at Blackpool.

After four defeats, the Sky Blues won 1-0 at Blackpool last Saturday and Mowbray is looking for more wins from his charges.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Mowbray said: "No-one likes losing and we’ve lost a few over the last few months and yet we never get too low.

“The players are still very positive. We have good senior pros here who drive the football club. Thankfully we managed to get a result last week and hopefully we can follow that up this week.

“I break down each performance and I have to say they have all been tight games, we’ve not really been outplayed. It’s been a case of if so and so had taken that chance or the lad from Fleetwood not smashed one in the top corner.

“I suppose you have to earn your own luck in football and I know our players will work hard and do that to ensure we get that luck we enjoyed last weekend.”
