Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he is happy with Jordan Brown who is on trial with the Sky Blues in Austria.

Speaking about Brown to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Mowbray said: "I am happy enough with him.

“You could see with Jordan today that he looks athletic, he looks sharp and he knows what he’s doing with the ball.”

Asked how the trial came about, Mowbray revealed: “I like to work with certain agents that you have an affinity with from working over the years and they recommend a player, so it’s a case of working with a foreign agent and building a relationship and keeping that going.

“It’s someone you can trust to bring in a certain quality rather than someone who comes and embarrasses themselves on the training ground.

"But I have to say that with triallists they have to be something spectacular for it to go well and want to bring him back home and have a look for a few weeks.

“He’s a nice lad who has mixed into the group and it’s just an opportunity for him to come in and make the numbers up in the sessions and we can run an eye over him during the week and make a decision after seeing him in a game situation.”
