Mowbray Concerns Over Blackpool Pitch

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has concerns over the pitch at Blackpool.

Mowbray, who will be taking his side to the North West today to prepare for the game, told the Coventry Telegraph at this morning's press conference: “I have been at clubs where I have asked the groundsman to leave one untended and if you are going to a ground where they have a poor pitch you can train on that and acclimatise

“Sometimes the players find it hard to adapt because it can be bobbly etc.

“Do you put a team on the pitch that can just run and be physical or trust in your talented players. It’s a fine balance.

“When it’s a difficult physical game you have to match that.

“If you fill your team with workers and grafters sometimes you don’t get that quality.”
