Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that Joe Cole is set to sign an extension to stay with the Sky Blues.
Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph at this lunch-time's press conference: "I’m having a meeting with Joe this afternoon and it’s about putting a plan together, three weeks of solid training. We’ll probably forget about him for this weekend and get him into a position where he can just play.
“Build up his resistance and get him playing.”I think the extension is all agreed to take him to January 3.
“He hasn’t put pen to paper yet but he’s about to.”
