Mowbray: City Support Inspires The Players To Fight For Something Bigger

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that the City support at matches always helps the players to fight for something bigger.

City had 1196 supporters at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night and will have over 3,000 supporters inside Bloomfield Road tomorrow.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph at this morning's press conference, Mowbray said about the numbers going to Blackpool: “If that doesn’t make them go the extra yard or inch because the people of Coventry are there, what else do they need?

“We have a great following on Tuesday night and yet we didn’t get over the line.

“But they always inspire the players to fight for something bigger; a show of force from people who follow the football club.”
