Whilst the feeling of many of the 142 Coventry City supporters leaving the Abbey Stadium after the Sky Blues 1-0 defeat to Cambridge United on Tuesday night was that it was the worst City have played this pre-season, City Boss Tony Mowbray was thnking otherwise.
The City boss, who has said in a number of interviews that goals need to be scored by players all over the park, not just the strikers, told Keiran Crowley: "I thought we played well tonight and the patterns which we've been working on has been coming together.
"You could say we haven't scored a goal but on another night, we win the game comfortably. We created more than enough chances to win a number of games.
"We're aware we still need a few forward options. We've got one striker in but the search goes on.
