Mowbray - We Need To Look For Central Defenders

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he and Mark Venus need to look for new central defenders.

City had Arron Martin miss the draw at Chesterfield with an ankle injury after losing first Reda Johnson and then his replacement Ben Turner.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Mowbray said: We had no recognised centre-half against Chesterfield

“Sam Ricketts has spent his career playing at full-back and yesterday he was playing alongside out left-back.

“We’re really short on physicality at the back which is a key area for us so that’s something we need to look at in January.”
