Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that the Sky Blues need points from their remaining five matches.

Speaking to Tom Bloomfield at this lunchtime's press conference, Mowbray said: This football club needs some points. There are teams around us playing each other so it would be a great time to pick up that win.

"We know that they are all tough games, we are seeing bottom clubs like Crawley and Colchester winning games all of a sudden.

"Every team in this league can score goals from set plays, counters and mistakes. I'm not analyzing Colchester, I'm focusing on my side. They are another hard working side.

"The supporters have had a frustrating time, especially at home. The away fans have seen some wins, it's been difficult at home.

"The aim as I said from day one is to get a winning team. We need to get that to get the fans in again. It's important to get the three points to please them.

"We've had a run of games at the Ricoh before, it doesn not hold any bearing. It will be a tight game like every game has been under my tenure.

"All that matters is getting the points, if our performance level is high then we will get the points."
