Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that former City manager and Chairman Jimmy Hill, who sadly passed away yesterday introduced the future to the game.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Mowbray said: "I remember watching Jimmy Hill every Saturday night on Match of the Day and the impact he had at this club was remarkable.
"We see him on the big screen before every game and he was a visionary for both the club and football as a whole. In an era where football needed pushing on, he introduced the future to the game.
"The modern footballer has a lot to thank Jimmy Hill for and this football club is in debt many, many times over for the work he did as a manager and chairman."
