Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray felt that his side should have had a goal during their 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United on Sunday.
Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner about some of the key decisions in the game: “The boys are saying that the all was definitely over the line – what suggests that to me is the way Joe Cole spun away celebrating when he could probably have put it in himself.
The McEveley tackle? “Twenty-odd years ago when I was playing you could tackle like that – I’m not sure you can in modern-day football.”
Ricketts’ red card: “He was sent off for catching the boy when there was nothing vicious about it; their lad pulled Ryan Kent back when he was running through so that would have been a second booking.”
“There you go; you don’t always get what you deserve.”
