Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he hopes the people of Coventry and City supporters were pleased with the 6-0 win over Bury and saw it as a fitting tribute to Jimmy Hill on Legends Day

Speaking to Alpha Ceesay, the City boss said: “I was pleased the team could find the performance that merited the things that have happened over the last few days.

“I hope the people of the city and the supporters of the football club are pleased with the performance and result.

"It was a poignant day and some of the legends of the football club who were watching us today can hopefully see it's not such a bad team.”
